The saddest song i've ever heard!

PLEASE DON'T GO BY EDI FITZROY

I added this song today because of a blog post i saw on chatty mouth:

This sad had a sad story behind it awell (as do all sad songs i believe), Edi Fitzroy was on his way from devorce court in 1994, when he stopped by the studio and recorded this, he cried the entire time, if you listen careefully you might hear him crying.

All in all this is a great song, he loves and hates at the sametime. it is a lovers rock tune (whatelse), and it will be released on the AMAZON IN LOVE compilation album next month (July 2008).

Blessed love and thanks for visiting our blog. be sure to a leave a comment, they are important. Jah guide, and keep bless in the reggae soul trap.

In the reggae soul trap and loving it

Milton Sterling was one of the first producers of the Amazon label back in 1992, and he co-produced the labels first album, WORLD OF AMAZON that same year.

Milton was a very dedicated producer who cared about high production values and the artists that he worked with. but he was also an artist, and Sean Woodhouse (DEADHOOD) realized that was putting himself aside for others, so he encourage him to do some recording, and the first song he did was, REGGAE SOUL TRAP. since then the song became a source of inspiration for us and other labels and artist when the business has you by the throat.

take a listen, and leave a comment, they mean much

Hugh Griffiths - Wanna be your lover

I WANN BE YOUR LOVER - HUGH GRIFFITHS

This is another one from the vault. i stumbled upon it september 2007 on an old reel to reel, i begged my producer, Sean Woodhouse, to remaster and digitize it for release,

Hugh Griffiths was probably one of the most underused or promoted STUDIO ONE artist, there is not much about him on the net, i can even find a bio for rastasake. I did find a couple of release though.

i was told that before he died around 95/96, he came to Amazon (our studio) because he heard of sean and his sound and wanted his most hit song to derive from there, he recorded three songs, but he died before they were released. but now one his singles, I WANNA BE YOUR LOVER, will be released on our newest compilation album, AMAZON IN LOVE, in July of 2008.

Take a listen and leave a comment. blessed love

Bluenile is still passionate about roots

Bluenile has been in the reggae recording business for almost 18 years. by no means we have gained the successes we had hoped when we established the company, but we are still passionate about reggae and music we produce. We have world class artists that delivers world class music.

One of the hardest thing for a small reggae label (or any type for that matter) is getting people to see and hear their artists. Thus the reason for this blog, to introduce new fans to Bluenile's music.

To start of our blog I've added JAH NEVER FAIL I, a track from Dr. Cabull Bird's upcoming album, UNTOUCHABLE. It is a roots reggae track that is really uplifting. take a listen and leave a comment.
